About Femme de Dieu

Femme de Dieu was inspired by our beloved mother, Joan "Tula" Adams. After being diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in December 2014, she shared a vision to bring together all her female offspring, relatives, and friends. Her goal was to impart Biblical wisdom and offer solid guidance before her passing. Though initially viewing her diagnosis as a death sentence, her unwavering faith and deep love for her family refused to accept defeat. She battled cancer for 6 years and 10 months and ultimately passed away on October 10, 2021. Throughout her journey, she fully embodied the vision, mission, and core values of Femme de Dieu.

Femme de Dieu is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring women and girls to embrace Kingdom Living. Our mission is to motivate and empower women and girls to live honorable, wholesome lives, rooted in Biblical wisdom and principles. Our core values are FAITH, FAMILY, FOOD, and FUN!

Our guiding scripture is Proverbs 31:30: “Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last, but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised”.

After Tula's passing, the Holy Spirit prompted us to formally establish Femme de Dieu as a nonprofit organization. Our aim is to extend beyond our immediate circle and equip other women and girls with the tools they need to live Kingdom-minded lives.
